We are focused on helping golfers improve their games with a particular
emphasis on junior and senior golfers. I have developed an understanding
of what it takes to play great and how to shoot lower scores.
I have been physically gifted with a great golf swing and an eye for golf
mechanics. I grew up with Ed and Jake Pfister. Ed is one of the top teachers in
the country with a proven ability for developing junior golf talent. His son EJ
went to Oklahoma State and won the NCAA individual championship in 1987.
During my days as a competitive senior golfer, I met Dr. Mo Pickens, PhD, who
coached me with my mental and short game routines. We then began
developing material for Dr. Mo’s books and his Learn to Win System. I continue
to work with Dr. Mo in the authorship of books and newsletters.
I have worked with a number of swing coaches including my friend and Golf
Magazine Top 100 Instructor, Jon Tattersall. Other swing coaches who I have
worked with include Hank Haney, Billy Harmon, Craig Harmon, and Sam
Urzetta. Recently, I have been assisting PGA professional Angelo DeJulio in the
development of the Montrose Colorado High School program. This team won
the 2008 and 2009 Regional Championship and finished third in the Colorado
State Championship two years in a row.
